The mini-skirt --- By The Rivers of Babylon

A day full of delite-full weird-stuff. The Vintage Tractors
came around to our humble little haunt at 'Madkinson'
on their bi-yearly rally. Lead by an old friend and ex-tenant
of ours Kevin Fenwick who was SO obviously
enjoying himself, riding-high on his noisy metal-mount...
Goldie Millhouse, a NOW current tenant, who in some ways
has taken Kevin's place, came to rummage through my seconds-books
and one of them, I remember in hind-sight, is titled:
'By The Rivers of Babylon'... In the hustle-bustle-confusion with
the tractor-people needing catering, I didn't take much note
WHAT books she took ! But I know she'll bring 'm back, once
she's finished with them.
Then a neighbourhood-girl, 13 or 14 yrs old, -I only know her first
name, Kylie, wanted to try on and buy a mini-skirt, which,
annoyingly had NO PRICE-tage on it... That's what made it
stand out. No price-tag. Stuff I sell on-assignment. If I under-charge,
I pay... So, I had to quick-guess, and when I do that, I err on the
side of caution. I will probably have 'to wear the difference' haha.
Then, some hours, which seem like LIGHTYEARS LATER, I surfed-
through multiple sites to the "Gateways to Babylon" website.
I didn't go looking it, yet, when I did arrive THERE...
I was taken immediately by the music-midi-maid-with-the-mini.
